Upgrade Your Home for Less: 80% Funding for 20 Retrofit Surveys in Selsey and Sidlesham!

Do you want to upgrade your home for energy efficiency but are unsure where to begin?

Ferry Farm Community Solar Co-op is excited to announce a unique opportunity for homeowners in Selsey and Sidlesham! We are offering over 80% funding for 'SuperHomes Retrofit Plans' to help you make your home cosier, healthier, and more energy efficient. With funding available for 20 homes, this is your chance to transform your home while reducing energy bills and lowering your carbon footprint.

What’s on Offer?

In partnership with the National Energy Foundation, an independent charity, we are offering heavily subsidised retrofit plans. Normally costing £600 + VAT, homeowners will only need to contribute £100—we cover the rest!

This initiative is designed to ensure that homeowners, whether they are planning renovations now or in the future, can take practical, affordable steps toward energy efficiency.

Created by expert Retrofit Coordinators, these plans will provide tailored recommendations for energy-saving measures such as insulation, new heating systems, solar panels, and double-glazing. The plan will provide step-by-step recommendations, projected savings, and clear guidance on how to get the work done. They will support you through the process, phasing out the work to suit your budget and minimise disruption while ensuring each step is done in the right order for maximum efficiency. We can also provide ongoing support to obtain quotes from accredited installers.

Why Participate?

We understand that choosing to retrofit your home, and actually implementing those measures, can feel like quite the jump. In order to narrow that gap, a Retrofit Plan is the most recommended tool to understand what needs doing, in which order, to maximise the energy efficiency of your home.

This initiative is especially beneficial for:

  • Homeowners looking to upgrade their property’s energy efficiency

  • Landlords needing to meet minimum energy efficiency requirements

  • Anyone concerned about climate change and reducing their carbon footprint

As energy bills rise and the UK aims for net zero by 2050, retrofitting homes is more important than ever. With 17% of the country’s carbon emissions coming from 29 million homes, it is estimated that we need to transform 1 million homes annually to meet these goals. Improving energy efficiency not only helps us achieve net zero but also keeps homes warmer, reduces bills, and combats fuel poverty.

How to Apply:

We are looking for 20 homes in Selsey and Sidlesham to participate. Register your interest now and don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to improve your home’s energy efficiency. Work is planned to begin in November 2024.

Please register your interest below, and if we receive more responses than available spots, we’ll select homes to ensure a representative sample from both Selsey and Sidlesham.
